Sono entrato nella beta di xobni e dopo 2 giorni di utilizzo sono stato omaggiato di 5 inviti. A qualcuno interessa l’invito?

Xobni è un pluin per il client di posta Outlook ed aggiunge funzionalità molto utili come una ricerca molto veloce e dati statistici sui nostri contatti.

Questo sito ha pubblicato un contest in cui si chiede di creare un calendario del 2008 che possa stare su un foglietto delle dimensioni di un biglietto da visita. Alcune soluzioni sono molto creative e decisamente interessanti. La maggior parte però sono indecifrabili e sembrano più degli esperimenti fatti da tecnci che studi di design. Il mio calendario preferito è quello che mostro nell’immagine del post (quello fatto da Ben Stevens). Il vostro preferito?

Mi sono comprato la nuova tastiera Apple.. quella sottile con il cavo (quella wireless è troppo costosa e mancano alcune parti importanti come il tastierino ed altri tasti). E’ davvero molto bella da vedere e una favola da usare: i tasti sono grandi, leggeri da premere e mi sembra di riuscire a scrivere molto più velocemente (sicuramente più velocemente rispetto all’altra tastiera Mac – quella bianca, concava con i tasti pesantissimi).

Questa nuova tastiera è molto molto simile ad una tastiera di un portatile, in particolare il feeling ad usarla è lo stesso che si prova ad usare la tastiera del MacBook. In più questa tastiera è leggermente ricurva (convessa: come se la forma della tastiera seguisse vagamente la curvatura delle mani) e bassissima (quindi chi è abituato ai poggia-polsi non ne avrà più bisogno).

Una piccola nota: per utilizzare i tasti funzione correttamente (sono sempre i soliti, ma sono stati spostati), dovrete aggiornare il sistema operativo (MENU MELA in alto a sinistra, SOFTWARE UPDATE oppure scaricate direttamente il nuovo driver dal sito apple).

L’aggiornamento si chiama: “KEYBOARD SOFTWARE UPDATE”, versione 1.2 di 22,9 MB (possibile che dei driver per una tastiera pesino così tanto?).

Ah, la tastiera non è proprio economica (costa 49€), ma credo che li valga tutti.

Now with video (320-by-240-pixel display — with 204 pixels per inch) and some cool colors.. The price is really low for the 4Giga (149$). White or red?

You play with crayons and physics. The goal of the game is to move the red ball so that it collects the stars. You can cause the red ball to move by drawing physical objects.

With left mouse button you can draw and with right you can remove objects.

Only for windows (or osx + parallels) and really really fun!! (Help me to solve the level in the picture)

Writing in iPhone is an incredible experience. This video shows some advanced features of writing with the virtual keyboard (words suggestions, keyboard reconfiguration and keys resizing). You can see the video here. It’s really impressive the final part, when the guy shows how to write with two thumbs (see the post image).

Snoop streams website events in real-time. It’s an OSX and WINDOWS application that let a dedicated asynchronous (non-polling) connection be maintained with Reinvigorate stats system. Reinvigorate is a free beta web application with web 2.0 functionality and design to track website and blogs stats. It’s really cool even if there are some minor features missing.

Snoop lets you track streaming events on your site and see what’s going on in real time inside the application.

Safari 3 beta on mac crashes, it doesn’t load pages (always blank pages even if the html is there). Have you got same problem on Safari 3 on windows (xp, vista)?

New features are interesting (drag and drop tabs throughout the bookmarks bar, resizable text areas, spellcheck, new search and many visual fixes), but I’m going to uninstall safari 3 beta and wait the final release.
